What It Is
As we age, we naturally lose volume in areas like the cheeks, temples, lips, and even hands. Combined with decreased collagen and elastin, this can lead to sagging, hollowing, and wrinkles. Dermal fillers help restore what’s been lost — giving your skin structure, volume, and softness again.
Fillers are a minimally invasive, non-surgical way to refresh your face and hands. Whether you're looking to contour, plump, or smooth, I customize each treatment to enhance your natural beauty — never overdone.
Treatment Areas
Common areas we treat with dermal filler include:
Cheeks (lift and contour)
Smile lines (nasolabial folds)
Temples (restore hollowing)
Lips (plump or define)
Chin and jawline (balance and structure)
Around the mouth (marionette lines)
Hands (rejuvenate volume loss)
Types of Fillers
I work with trusted filler brands like Juvederm, Restylane, Revanesse, Belotero, and Radiesse.
Most fillers are made of hyaluronic acid (HA), a naturally occurring substance in your skin.
Radiesse is unique — it contains a calcium-based gel that also stimulates collagen production for longer-lasting, natural results.
Each filler has its strengths, and we’ll choose what’s best for your goals and anatomy during your consultation.
How to Prepare
To help your results shine and reduce potential bruising:
Schedule your filler at least 2 weeks before any big events
Avoid alcohol 24 hours before your appointment
Pause blood-thinning medications/supplements 5–7 days prior (Aspirin, Advil, fish oils — unless prescribed)
Protect your skin with SPF
Stick to your skincare routine for healthy skin pre-treatment
The Treatment Process
Your filler appointment typically takes 15–30 minutes. After mapping out the area, I use a small needle or cannula to inject the filler with precision and care. Most products contain a built-in numbing agent (lidocaine), so the procedure is very tolerable — no need to worry about pain.
What to Expect Afterward
Results are instant — you’ll walk out with visible improvement
Over the next 1–2 weeks, the filler will settle and integrate into your skin
With Radiesse, you’ll also get the bonus of long-term collagen stimulation
Maintenance varies depending on the filler:
Hyaluronic acid fillers: touch-ups every 6–12 months
Radiesse: refresh every 12–24 months
Aftercare Tips
Right after treatment, you may experience some swelling, tenderness, or bruising — totally normal and temporary. To help:
Avoid alcohol and heat for 24 hours
Skip workouts for a day or two
Avoid direct sun exposure
Use SPF daily
Apply a cold compress if needed (but don’t press hard!)
Most clients return to daily life immediately with no downtime.
Risks & Considerations
In the hands of an experienced injector, dermal fillers are very safe. Still, some minor side effects can happen:
Temporary swelling or redness
Mild bruising
Tenderness at the injection site
Overfilling or unnatural results are usually the result of poor technique — but that’s never the vibe at SKYNkraft. My goal is to leave you looking refreshed, never “done".
